Designing for Jack Mullins Music

One of my favorite parts of being a graphic designer is working on unique projects, and I was thrilled when local musician (and postman!) Jack Mullins asked me to create print flyers for his band, Postman Jack & The Special Deliveries.

Jack is a passionate fan of Elvis Presley and Neil Young, so I drew inspiration from the music and eras that shaped their sound. My goal was to design flyers that captured a vintage rock ‘n’ roll feel while staying true to the band’s energy and style. Since these are print pieces, I focused on bold colors, eye-catching typography, and a layout that would stand out on venue walls and bulletin boards.

Jack and his band play at some of the most iconic venues in the Santa Cruz Mountains, including places where Neil Young himself once performed. It’s always exciting to merge design with music history, and this project was no exception!
